Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how QrBatch ("QrBatch," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the QrBatch Android application and this website. By using QrBatch, you acknowledge the practices described here.
Information we process
Depending on the features you use, we may process:
- Account information, such as your email address, authentication provider identifier, and account status.
- App activity and service data, such as generation or scan usage, quota balances, task metadata, synchronization status, and feature history associated with your account.
- Purchase information needed to verify Google Play subscriptions or credit purchases, such as product and transaction identifiers. Payment card details are handled by Google Play and are not provided to us.
- Technical information, such as app version, device installation identifier, language setting, error details, IP address, and standard server request logs.
- Messages and account details you choose to send when contacting support.
Codes, files, camera, and photos
QrBatch uses camera access to scan codes and may access files or images you select for import, logo placement, or gallery scanning. Code images, imported files, and exports are primarily processed on your device. Scan task records may be stored locally and synchronized with our service when you are signed in and a network connection is available. We do not access your camera or photos unless you choose a feature that requires them and grant the relevant permission.
How we use information
- Provide account access, batch generation, scanning, history, synchronization, and support.
- Track free usage, subscriptions, and purchased generation credits.
- Verify purchases, prevent fraud or abuse, and protect service security.
- Diagnose errors, maintain reliability, and improve QrBatch.
- Comply with applicable law and enforce our terms.
Service providers
QrBatch may rely on service providers to operate the app, including Google Play for distribution and billing and Google for optional account authentication. These providers process information under their own privacy policies. We may also use hosting, email delivery, security, and infrastructure providers that process information only as needed to provide their services to us.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers described above, when you ask us to share or export content, to protect QrBatch and its users, in connection with a business transfer, or when required by law.
Data retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain required transaction and security records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. On-device files remain under your control and can be removed using app or device controls. To request deletion of your QrBatch account and associated personal information, email support@qrbatch.com from the address connected to your account. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
QrBatch is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law to consent to data processing. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age.
International use
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as QrBatch changes. We will publish the revised policy here and update its effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app when appropriate.
